Estimated Closing Dates 2020/2021 Season

Estimated Closing Dates for the 2020/2021 Season:

  • Keystone *Extended April 11th* (reservations required)
  • Arapahoe Basin End of April *always dependent on weather* (reservations for some pass-holders)
  • Breckenridge *Aiming for 5/31/21*
  • Copper April 25th (parking reservations required)
  • Loveland *Estimated April 11th* (Reservations required)

The 2020/2021 Season is underway!

Though state and local public health orders may change the outline of what to expect this season is being formed. Learn more about each resort below:

Key features of all Resorts are social distancing, face coverings, and organized lift lines. Some are requiring reservations others are not. Some will sell day of tickets and others will prioritize season pass holders. Be sure to research which mountain you want to visit!

Mountain Events: New Years 2021

This New Year’s Eve is a bit different than years past, but there are still endless ways to safely celebrate here in Summit County by enjoying the outdoors!

Some fun activities to consider: 

Magic of Lights, Vail: *Tickets required*

Dillon Ice Castles: *Tickets required*

 

Silverthorne First Friday: Sledding, Maryland Creek Park *Friday, January 1st*

There are no fireworks this year in the County. 

Summit County Activities to try: 

(Always be mindful of where you are traveling in the side/backcountry and be prepared for avalanche terrain) 

Mountain Events: Nov. 20th – 22nd

Summit County is currently  in Safer-At-Home Level Red due to increasing Covid-19 case counts. (Restaurants have a variance until Sunday evening.) 

Please wear a mask, physically distance, and listen to local restrictions

Keystone, Arapahoe Basin, Loveland, and Breckenridge are all open!
*Keystone and Breck require reservations. Be sure to know the procedures of the mountain you’re going to visit before you go. Indoor dining is limited in most as well.
