Copper Mountain
Copper Mountain opened in November 1972. It is one of the largest resorts in Summit County with over 2,400 skiable acres on naturally divided terrain. Beginners and experts both have a wonderful day on the slopes while the daring can go to the Woodward at Copper first-rate terrain parks. Don’t feel like downhill skiing? Copper has 16 miles of cross-country trails, a fast and fun tubing hill in East Village, and access to Janet’s backcountry cabin. Not to mention the US Ski Team Speed Center training venue.
During the summer, Center Village is home to endless family fun with mini golf, quad bungee jumping, zip lining, go carting, rock climbing, and many more activities. The American Eagle chair lift provides access to downhill mountain bike trails and wonderful hiking. In East Village the 19 hole golf course provides a great game with gorgeous views. Some of the events that come to Copper include Copper Triangle, US Pro Challenge, Warrior Dash, Ragnar Relays, and Guitar Town.
Copper Mountain offers ski in and ski out properties in all three villages including the luxurious Lewis Ranch. Whether it’s golf course views or gorgeous mountain views Copper Mountain offers something for everyone.
With three different villages (East, Center & West) Copper Mountain has everything from employee deed restricted housing, slope-side condos, and luxury homes (Lewis Ranch). Whatever you are looking for you will be able to find it at this great resort.
