Copper Mountain opened in November 1972. It is one of the largest resorts in Summit County with over 2,400 skiable acres on naturally divided terrain. Copper has 16 miles of cross-country trails, a fast and fun tubing hill in East Village, and access to Janet’s backcountry cabin. Not to mention the US Ski Team Speed Center training venue.
